All practitioners at Think Therapies are registered with Medicare, and have their own Provider numbers.
Psychology clients who are eligible under the Medicare Better Access scheme (also known as a GP Mental Health Care Plan) can receive a rebate for their psychology services. We are able to process this rebate for you at the time of your appointment.
Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy clients eligible under the Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (also known formerly as an Enhanced Primary Care Plan) will receive a rebate for their therapy services. We are able to process this rebate for you at the time of your appointment.
For more information on Medicare rebates, please contact our administration staff.
Practitioners at Think Therapies are registered with most (major) private health funds. Please contact your health fund prior to your first appointment with us, to see if you are entitled to a rebate for your specific therapy service. Please note, our office cannot claim the rebate directly, so clients will be required to pay the full amount at the time of their consultation, and then claim the rebate back themselves.
Practitioners in all three of our therapy services are registered to provide services under the HCWA scheme. The Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) government package provides access to intervention services for children aged 0 – 6 years, who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The package provides funding of up to $12,000 ($6000 max. in one financial year). Eligible children must be diagnosed, and have applied for funding, before their sixth birthday. HCWA funding can then be accessed until the child turns 7.
For more information on HCWA funding, please contact either the Early Intervention help desk on 1800 778 581, or talk to our administration staff.
Our practice only accepts NDIA clients who are self-managed.
